As Israel continues to launch a war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, through its heavy fire aggression and the war of starvation it is waging through the siege and the prevention of aid from the Strip, the Gaza Strip is heading towards a humanitarian catastrophe. The massacres of the Israeli occupation have killed more than 38 martyrs since dawn on Sunday, medical sources confirmed to Al-Jazeera network until the time of writing this report. “There is nothing left to offer them now, so once the latest supplies are out of stock, the kitchens will have to close,” an unnamed senior UN official told the Guardian newspaper on Sunday.
He added, “For now, people are still somewhat coherent, but we know from other crises that when things are deteriorating, they are deteriorating very quickly, and we are not far from that point.”
The World Food Program has renewed its claim to bring food into Gaza, and said that two million people are completely dependent on food aid and the situation is on the verge of collapse.
