Recent data from the maritime affairs magazine “Lloyd’s List” has revealed a notable decline in the movement of oil tankers heading to Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu port, coinciding with continued tensions in navigation in the Red Sea, the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, and the Gulf of Aden.
Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
These developments come amid the measures implemented by Sana’a forces against ships heading to Saudi ports, within the framework of Sana’a’s “siege-for-siege” equation in response to the continued Saudi siege imposed on Yemen.
The decline in oil tanker movement to Yanbu reflects escalating pressures on one of the most prominent Saudi oil ports on the Red Sea, at a time when shipping companies are seeking alternative routes to reduce security risks and insurance costs.
