The Latest Field Developments in Taiz

The western Taiz front is witnessing calm with intermittent clashes since Sunday morning after the Sana’a forces stabilized their positions in the old airport area located within the western neighborhoods of Taiz city, while the Islah forces worked to push military reinforcements to the Jabal Sabir front in an attempt to recover the villages of Al-Sarari and Wateer in Sabir Al-Mawadim District.
According to field sources, the forces affiliated with Islah had achieved progress on the outskirts of Al-Sarari village, but the Sana’a forces carried out a flanking operation on them and inflicted on all the elements of the force between dead, wounded, and captured.
The most important development stands out on the Sabir front with the Sana’a forces’ ability to cut the last supply road for the forces of the Islah Party on the Al-Shaqab front, after controlling Jabal Al-Aqour and Akamat Al-Rahn.
