Repositioning of the Iranian navy in Hormuz
The Iranian forces began, on Sunday, to reposition in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important maritime passages in the Middle East.
This coincides with the Iranian Parliament officially approving the decision to close it.

The Iranian Tasnim Agency reported that the Guard gunboats belonging to the Revolutionary Guard have deployed at different points to impose a curfew at the level of the strait’s point, while the British Reuters agency confirmed the presence of rapid and unusual movement to move naval vessels at the point of the strait.
These movements come after the Iranian Parliament announced its approval of a decision to close the strait, awaiting orders from the Supreme Leader.
In terms of timing, it indicates that Iran is actually moving to close it.
The strait accounts for about 40% of the volume of oil trade around the world.
Closing the strait is one of Iran’s most prominent options to retaliate against the American aggression, as the strait is the passage for its most important battleships that violate the region.
