On the eve of the largest Yemeni attack American emergency at its most important base on the Red Sea amid hints of an aircraft being hit
The US declared a state of emergency on Sunday at its most important military base on the African side of the Red Sea, a day after the largest Yemeni attack targeted Saudi mobilizations on Yemen’s western coast.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US embassy in Djibouti called on aircraft to avoid flying in the airspace of “Chabelley” air base, which US forces use as a base on the Red Sea.
The embassy hinted in a brief tweet on its official social media page that an aircraft was hit, indicating that it is monitoring the state of emergency regarding an aircraft in emergency status in Djiboutian airspace.
Although the embassy did not clarify the details of what is happening, its coincidence with Sana’a’s execution of its largest operation on the western coast suggests that US forces may have mistakenly fired at a civilian aircraft, or that they fear being targeted amid the wide-scale confrontations in Yemen.
