Iranian warnings regarding new attempts to bypass Hormuz
Iran renewed its affirmation of control over the Strait of Hormuz amid new attempts to bypass it.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The spokesman for the Iranian army affirmed that passage through the strait will be subject to the supervision of the armed forces, indicating that the Iranian people, who succeeded in expelling America from the region by destroying its weapons and bases, will not allow rearmament to return again via Hormuz.
The Iranian official’s statements coincided with other statements by officials who confirmed the expansion of control over the Strait of Hormuz, with the Guard and the navy sharing the security of its eastern and western flanks.
Iran’s re-emphasis on the Hormuz file coincides with Western-regional attempts to circumvent the strait following America’s failure to control it militarily.
The most prominent of these attempts are led by France and Britain under a defensive banner, despite their confirmation of providing fighters, drones, and minesweepers, an indication of their readiness for war.
In this context, the “France 24” channel quoted officials as saying that Iran has issued warnings to those countries about the consequences of engaging in aggression.
The French-British movement coincides with a Gulf-American movement in the Security Council to issue a draft resolution aimed at legitimizing a new round of war and providing international cover for the internationalization of the vital strait.
