Sana a Health Saudi Aviation s Targeting of a House in Taiz Is a War Crime

The Ministry of Health in the Sana’a government on Monday revealed the toll of the Saudi aviation’s massacre in Al-Ma’afir District, south of Taiz, noting that the incident amounts to a war crime that requires accountability before international courts.

The Ministry said in a statement that the bombardment of a house in Al-Ma’afir led to “the martyrdom of three women and an elderly man and the wounding of three others, as an initial toll.”
The statement indicated that this crime amounts to a war crime that requires accountability before international courts, and represents a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
The Sana’a Health statement also affirmed that “the Saudi enemy is practicing a policy of forced displacement against civilians, and exposing them to extermination operations and grave violations through its continuous crimes and its mobilizations directed against the right of civilians to life and safe housing.”
