The Giants Acknowledge the Loss of Al Mudaribah and Ras Al Arah in Lahj and the Confrontations Reach the First District Adjacent to Aden
The southern Giants factions acknowledged on Sunday the loss of Al-Mudaribah and Ras Al-Arah District in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen. This coincides with reports of an advance by the Sana’a forces on the outskirts of Aden.

These factions, counted upon by the UAE, published new video clips in which they claim to carry out airstrikes in Al-Mudaribah and Ras Al-Arah. The clip was considered, according to experts, as evidence of the completion by these factions, which Saudi Arabia had pushed to south of Al-Mandab, of the evacuation of their elements from the coastal city in Lahj.
Field reports had reported that those they described as “Houthis” achieved a new advance on the Al-Mudaribah front.
The sources affirmed the completion by the Sana’a forces of the encirclement of the administrative center of the district known as “Al-Shatin” after securing Wadi Al-Nabiq on the outskirts of the area.
Controlling the last areas of Al-Mudaribah and Ras Al-Arah cuts the supply lines to what remains of the southern Saudi-loyal factions south of Al-Mandab and strengthens Sana’a’s control over advanced positions toward Aden.
The developments in Ras Al-Arah and Al-Mudaribah come in parallel with another advance toward central Lahj.
Tribal sources reported that “Al-Waht” Camp was subjected to intensive artillery bombardment, which indicates that it has fallen within the range of the Sana’a forces.
Al-Waht is administratively affiliated with Tuban District and is located exactly on the border of Aden Governorate.
The camp had witnessed the arrival of huge reinforcements for the Dira Al-Watan factions.
Tuban, in the event the Sana’a forces advance to it, is added to several districts in Lahj that were secured during the past period, the most prominent of which are Al-Mudaribah and Ras Al-Arah, in addition to Tur Al-Baha, Al-Qubaytah, and Al-Maqatirah.
