The German DW network America fights its most expensive war with the Yemenis and its airstrikes fail to break them

The German DW network has published a new report confirming that the war the US is waging against the Sanaa forces in Yemen has become the most costly and complex battle for the Pentagon at the present time, amid clear indicators of the failure of air strikes to achieve their strategic objectives.
According to the report, the ongoing US military operations since mid-January against the Houthis have not led to a decline in their capabilities, but on the contrary, the Yemeni forces have shown a high ability to adapt and develop, whether in terms of attack tactics or the weapons systems used, in addition to the continued flow of supplies to them from multiple sources.
DW added that the airstrikes, despite their intensity, are unable to have a decisive impact, and it is unlikely that they will achieve the goal of “defeating the Houthis” through airstrikes alone, especially in light of the experience these forces have accumulated during the years of the ongoing war since 2015.
The report indicates that the current war isn’t just a military battle but a massive economic and strategic attrition for the US, especially in light of the expansion of the geographical area of engagement and the continuation of Yemeni attacks on American and Israeli ships despite the aerial escalation.
