The Fourth in 24 Hours Sana a Announces the Downing of a Saudi Reconnaissance Drone

The official spokesman for Sana’a forces, Yahya Saree, announced moments ago the downing of a Saudi reconnaissance drone in Al-Jawf governorate, northwest of Sana’a, the second to be shot down in 12 hours, and the fourth in one day.

Saree said in a statement published via “Telegram”: “The Yemeni Armed Forces, by God’s grace, have managed to shoot down a CH4 armed reconnaissance drone belonging to the Saudi enemy, northwest of Sana’a, while it was carrying out hostile missions’ moments ago in the airspace of Al-Jawf governorate.”
He added: “This drone is the second of its type to be shot down in the past 12 hours, and the fourth in the past 24 hours, and it was shot down with an appropriate weapon.”
In a related context, the spokesman for Sana’a forces had previously issued a severe warning to the Saudi regime following the recent escalation in Al-Jawf and Al-Bayda governorates and its aviation’s crimes against civilians, affirming that this will not “remain without punishment.”

Saree’s statement read: “The Saudi enemy, in parallel with its comprehensive and ongoing siege on the Yemeni people, has undertaken dangerous escalatory steps represented by launching airstrikes, committing massacres against civilians, the latest of which was the Al-Jawf governorate massacre, in addition to intensifying reconnaissance flights and supplying its mercenaries with various types of weapons on the ground.”
The statement affirmed that “the continued aggression and escalation will not remain without response and punishment,” vowing that the Saudi regime will bear the dire consequences of its criminality and escalation against the sons of the Yemeni people.
