European British and American measures with anticipation of resumption of Yemeni operations in the Red Sea
Western countries revealed on Sunday the escalation of fears of the resumption of Yemeni operations in the Red Sea.
This comes in the wake of the American attack on Iran, which Yemen preceded with a warning of its repercussions.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The US, Britain, and the European Union have issued warnings to ships.
The Combined Maritime Forces Information Center of the US Fifth Fleet stated that the threat to shipping through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden has become high, while the British Marine Operations Board indicated that the heightened threat level currently only applies to US ships, while the European Union, through its military mission in the Red Sea, called on all ships to avoid the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden routes.
Although no new activity has been recorded there yet, the warnings reflect Western – American fears of the consequences of the aggression against Iran, especially in light of Tehran’s decision to close the Strait of Hormuz.
Yemen has not yet announced the closure of Bab Al-Mandeb, which is considered the last maritime outlet in the Middle East with Europe, but speculations suggest that it will be closed.
The Yemeni forces had, through their official spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, warned against any American aggression on Iran just hours before it was carried out.
Over the past two years, Yemen has succeeded in tightening the siege on the Israeli occupation within the operations to support Gaza, as it forced dozens of ships linked to the occupation to take routes far from the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea, reaching the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean.
It is expected that Yemen’s strikes in the Red Sea this time will be the strongest.
