Disruptions at Dammam Airport Repeated Cancellations and Delays in Flight Movement

The data of the “Flightradar24” website showed the continuation of disruptions in air navigation movement at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, with cancellations and delays being recorded in a number of flights, amid a wider disruption witnessed by the Saudi aviation sector against the backdrop of the military escalation in the region.

According to the website’s data on arrival movement, 16 canceled flights were recorded, along with 6 delayed flights, while the departure data showed the recording of 27 canceled flights and 24 delayed flights during the period displayed on the monitoring board.
These disruptions come in light of the repercussions of the military escalation on aviation movement in Saudi Arabia, as Qatar Airways announced on the 13th of October the temporary suspension of its flights from and to Riyadh and Dammam, noting the current conditions.
