The Sana’a government’s Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, stated yesterday that their armed forces are equipped to take on the Saudi-Emirati coalition, hinting that new weapons will be revealed by the leadership at the appropriate time.

We have the resources and military capabilities to achieve significant triumphs, Major General Al-Atifi remarked during a visit to “members of several units of the Fourth Military Region stationed in the districts of Maqbanah, Al-Mokha, Al-Barh, Mawza’, and Jabal Habshi in Taiz province.”
He issued a warning to the coalition, stating that “No force will stand in our way to liberate Yemen, and this is a legitimate and legal right,” and that “The United States and Britain should not continue to push the countries of the aggression coalition towards escalation, but rather help them exit the war.”
The coalition and its factions control many Yemeni islands in Yemeni territorial waters adjacent to the Indian Ocean and Yemeni islands, and the Sana’a defense minister vowed to liberate them. In the event that the coalition wanted to escalate the situation, he reaffirmed that Sana’a’s forces would liberate Yemen “with the barrels of guns and legions of the Yemeni army.”
