American admission of being prevented from entering the Red Sea by Yemen
The US admitted, on Tuesday, for the first time in its history, that it has been prevented from the Red Sea.

Bloomberg agency quoted sources from major American technology companies as saying that their plans to pass cables across the Red Sea have been postponed indefinitely.
The American agency reported that Google and Meta, both implicated in supporting the Israeli occupation during the Gaza war, have decided to halt plans related to implementing giant cable projects through the Red Sea, attributing this to security concerns.
The report considered that the projects of the two companies add to other projects that American companies were preparing to implement through the Red Sea and have been disrupted.
The most prominent of these projects, according to the agency, are the (IMEWE and SEA-ME-WE 4) cables.
The report explained that the disruption of these projects would affect the congested cloud traffic and alternative routes linking Europe, Africa, and Asia via the Red Sea.
These admissions are unprecedented in the history of America, which had been accustomed to controlling the high seas over the past decades.
Over the past two years, the Red Sea has witnessed the most intense confrontations between Yemen, which declared its support for Gaza by imposing a siege on the Israeli occupation, and the American-British forces backed by a regional and international coalition aimed at breaking the siege. This ended with the decision of America and its allies to withdraw battleships from the Red Sea following a series of deadly attacks targeting battleships and fleets, including aircraft carriers.
