1244violations committed by the occupation army during the first phase of the Gaza agreement

The Government Media Office in Gaza reported that the Israeli army committed 1,244 violations during the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, resulting in 1,760 martyrs, wounded, and detainees.

It stated that since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, 2025, and continuing for 95 days until Thursday morning, January 15, 2026, the Israeli occupation forces continued to commit serious and systematic violations of the agreement. These violations constitute a blatant breach of international humanitarian law and a deliberate undermining of the essence of the ceasefire and the provisions of its attached humanitarian protocol.

Israeli Violations

The office explained that the violations included 402 direct shooting incidents against civilians, 66 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas, 581 bombings and attacks targeting unarmed civilians and their homes, and 195 incidents of demolition and destruction of homes, institutions, and civilian buildings.

These systematic violations resulted in the deaths of 449 Palestinians who were admitted to hospitals, and injuries to 1,246 others, in addition to 50 unlawful arrests carried out by Israeli occupation forces.

On the humanitarian front, the Office affirmed that the Gaza Strip is facing a slow genocide, as the occupation continues to evade its obligations under the agreement and the humanitarian protocol. It has failed to deliver even the minimum agreed-upon quantities of aid. During the first phase of the agreement (95 days),only 24,611 trucks entered the Gaza Strip out of the 57,000 that were supposed to enter.

Fuel shipments to the Gaza Strip during the same period amounted to only 601 trucks out of the 4,750 that were supposed to enter, an average of 6 trucks per day out of the 50 allocated under the agreement.
