Hebrew media acknowledged today, Tuesday, that 10 soldiers from the “101st Battalion” of the Paratroopers Brigade were injured during a close-range clash with Hezbollah fighters inside the town of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon.

According to reports, the clash broke out at night following a direct confrontation between a paratrooper force and resistance fighters, leading to intense exchanges of fire and resulting in the injury of the soldiers, including three in serious condition, who were transported to hospitals, some via military helicopters.
Bint Jbeil is considered one of the most prominent combat axes in southern Lebanon, witnessing ongoing confrontations amid Israeli attempts to advance into the city, facing fierce resistance.
in contrast, field sources reported that the clashes are concentrated in several points within the town, especially on the outskirts of the old market, with continued artillery shelling and airstrikes on the area.
The Islamic Resistance also announced the execution of additional operations, including targeting military sites and concentrations of the Israeli army, within the framework of responding to what it describes as violations of the ceasefire.
These developments reflect the escalating intensity of ground confrontations in southern Lebanon, with increasing losses among Israeli forces as a result of direct clashes.
