On Sunday, Ibrahim Zulfaghari, spokesman for the Iranian Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, threatened American soldiers with making them food for sharks in the Gulf, warning that any ground attack or attempt to occupy Iranian territory would not go without a response.

In a statement, the Khatam Al-Anbiya spokesman affirmed that Iranian forces are prepared to deal with any escalation, emphasizing that Tehran is closely monitoring movements and will deal with them as it deems appropriate.
Zulfaghari described US President Donald Trump as vacillating in his positions, noting that he adopts contradictory stances, alternating between calls for negotiations and threats of war within short periods of time.
He noted that US forces in the region are facing difficult conditions, pointing out that soldiers have been forced to relocate to civilian and service facilities after their bases came under attack and that they remain vulnerable to targeting.
The spokesman reiterated that his country views any military move as a dangerous escalation.
He called on the US leadership to review its positions and not to push its forces into an open confrontation, warning of the consequences this would have at the regional level.
