The Zionist occupation hands over the bodies of 15 Palestinian martyrs and continues to violate the ceasefire

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that it had received 15 bodies of martyrs released by the Israeli occupation through the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The ministry stated in a social media post that the number of bodies handed over to the Palestinian side as part of the ceasefire agreement has risen to 300, of which 89 have been identified. The ministry affirmed that it and its medical teams are continuing to handle the bodies according to established medical procedures and protocols, in preparation for completing the examination, documentation, and handover to the families.

In its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded resulting from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that 10 martyrs, including one new martyr, arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 72 hours. Nine of the martyrs were recovered from under the rubble, in addition to six wounded.

The ministry reported that 241 Palestinians have been martyred since the ceasefire on October 11, while 614 have been wounded, and 522 bodies have been recovered. According to the report, the death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 69,169 martyrs and 170,685 injuries since October 7, 2023.

This morning, Saturday, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis, in yet another violation of the ceasefire. The airstrikes targeted the eastern areas of Gaza City and the eastern areas of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, while Israeli artillery simultaneously shelled the eastern part of Khan Younis. Israeli forces also continued their demolition and destruction operations against residential buildings and other infrastructure east of Gaza City.
