Israeli forces have escalated their operations in the occupied West Bank, launching a widespread arrest campaign targeting dozens of Palestinians. This coincides with demolition orders issued for homes and structures in the vicinity of occupied Jerusalem, a policy Palestinians say aims to “impose new facts on the ground.”
In Ramallah, the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported that the Israeli army arrested at least 30 Palestinians from various West Bank governorates, including occupied Jerusalem, between Monday evening and Tuesday morning during ongoing raids and incursions.
The club explained that the arrests included a number of released prisoners, among them Zahra Khadraj and her daughter Yaqin, as well as a woman from Qalandiya refugee camp. The arrests took place in Jenin, Nablus, Qalqilya, Tulkarm, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.
