The number of victims of the Israeli genocide has reached 70 000

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli offensive since October 2023 has risen to 70,373, with 171,079 wounded.

This information was included in the ministry’s daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded resulting from the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.

For two years, beginning on October 8, 2023, Israel has committed genocide in Gaza and continues to violate the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10.

The Ministry of Health stated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received four dead and ten wounded in the past 24 hours, without providing further details about the locations or circumstances of these incidents. Meanwhile, Israel continues to violate the agreement by targeting civilian areas and firing on Palestinians.

The ministry clarified that since the ceasefire, the total number of victims has reached 383 martyrs and 1,002 wounded, in addition to the recovery of 627 bodies from under the rubble left by the Israeli offensive.

She stated that the death toll from the Israeli offensive since October 2023 “has risen to 70,373 martyrs and 171,079 wounded.”

In addition to the casualties, most of whom are children and women, Israel has caused massive destruction in Gaza, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at approximately $70 billion.
