The number of martyrs continues to rise

The cumulative death toll from the Israeli occupation’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,419 martyrs, in addition to 174,364 wounded, amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement by the occupation.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health, in its daily statistical report issued today, Saturday, stated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received two martyrs and four wounded individuals in the past 48 hours.

The Ministry indicated that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2023, has reached 1,285, along with 4,252 wounded with varying degrees of injury.

It reported that medical and specialized teams have managed to recover 813 bodies of martyrs from under the rubble of destroyed homes and buildings since last October. The ministry warned that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them so far.
