Suspicious US movements continue in the vicinity of Yemen

As part of a strategy to bolster US forces in the Middle East, Timothy Hawkins, a spokesman for the Fifth Fleet, said following the announcement of the arrival of 3000 American soldiers and two aircraft carriers to the Red Sea and Gulf, that this force is a precursor to a long-term military presence in the region.
The US official clarified that the “main objective of the additional forces is to give more options and flexibility for decision-makers in Washington and field leaders” to confront any problem, as he said.
