Saudi recognition for the first time of an Emirati alliance to topple its Legitimacy in Yemen
Saudi Arabia admitted, on Monday, an Emirati scheme to target what it described as “legitimacy” in Yemen… This coincides with arrangements to topple the last centers of Saudi influence in the east of the country.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Saudi journalist close to intelligence, Ali Al-Arishi, reported the existence of Emirati coordination between the forces loyal to it on the West Coast and in Aden to topple what he described as the “legitimacy” supported by his country.
Al-Arishi cited the intensive media coordination between Tariq Saleh and the Southern Transitional Council (STC).
He also considered that the scheme aims to weaken the authority loyal to his country and dismantle it to pass what he described as small projects that serve ambitious components at the expense of the state.
Al-Arishi confirmed that the coordination has emerged clearly, expecting it to reach higher levels in the coming days.
He indirectly accused the UAE of orchestrating what is happening to pass what it wants, even if temporarily.
This is the first time Saudi Arabia has acknowledged the existence of an Emirati conspiracy to overthrow its followers in Yemen.
The Saudi talk about an Emirati scheme coincides with Abu Dhabi’s decision to strike its back door in Hadhramaut, where the UAE is throwing all its weight to settle the battle for the Hadhramaut oil plateau, which carries geopolitical dimensions more than economic ones.
The Saudi acknowledgment is considered late, as the battle for Hadhramaut is on the verge of exploding.
