New satellite images reveal the extent of damage to the Jazan Refinery following the latest attack

Recent satellite images published yesterday, Friday, revealed the extent of the damage inflicted by Sana’a forces’ attacks on the Jizan refinery in their attack days ago.

The images published by “Sentinel-2,” specializing in open-source monitoring on July 31, showed at least three oil tanks completely destroyed as a result of the fires, while two other tanks sustained severe damage, an indicator of the scale of losses suffered by the oil facility.
The Aramco facilities in Jizan that were targeted are among the most prominent oil refining and storage centers in Saudi Arabia, hosting a refinery with a production capacity of about 400,000 barrels per day.
Sana’a forces had launched an attack on Saudi oil facilities, including the Aramco facility in Jizan, in response to continued Saudi violations of Yemeni airspace and the continued siege imposed on Yemen.
