Sanaa forces deny any threat from Yemen targeting holy city of Mecca

A source in Sanaa forces—Ansar Allah—condemned on Tuesday what he called the fabrication, deception, and misinformation employed by Saudi through its claims of a threat from Yemen against the holy city of Mecca.

“We categorically deny the existence of any threat from Yemen targeting the holy city of Mecca or any other holy sites.” The source said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).

He added that “the dissemination of such false reports aims to tarnish reputations and garner sympathy within the Islamic world atactic the Saudi enemy has used previously.”
