The Revolutionary Guard announces the execution of a Combined Operation against American naval targets near the Strait of Hormuz

The Naval Force Command of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it had carried out a “combined, intensive, and precise” military operation against naval targets, following what it described as a “breach of the ceasefire” and the “US army’s” assault on an Iranian oil tanker near the port of Jask, in addition to the approach of US destroyers to the Strait of Hormuz area.

According to the statement, the operation used multiple types of ballistic missiles and anti-ship cruise missiles, along with attack drones equipped with highly explosive warheads, targeting what were described as “hostile destroyers” in the area.
The Command added that intelligence monitoring indicates “significant damage” has been inflicted on American forces, pointing to the swift withdrawal of three warships from the vicinity of the strait without providing evidence or independent details confirming the scale of losses.
These statements come amid escalating maritime and security tensions in the vicinity of the Arabian Gulf, particularly the navigational passages near the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important energy corridors.
