A Resounding Intelligence Failure Channel 12 Reveals Mossad Spent a Fortune on Covert Operations in Gaza Before Black Saturday and All of Them Ended in Failure
Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
In a new Israeli testimony added to the record of intelligence failures, Hebrew “Channel 12” revealed details today, Sunday, about a series of failed covert operations carried out by the “Mossad” inside the Gaza Strip in the years preceding the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.
“Channel 12” stated in its report that “despite the claim that the Gaza arena is under the jurisdiction of the Shin Bet and not the Mossad, we reveal that in the years preceding October 7, the Mossad carried out several operations inside the Gaza Strip, in which it invested huge sums of money, and all of them ended in failure.”
This revelation raises profound questions about the scale of the Israeli intelligence failure, which was not limited to the “Shin Bet,” the agency directly responsible for the sector, but extended to the “Mossad,” the most elite and well-funded agency in the Israeli security establishment.
This admission reveals that the “Mossad,” which markets itself as one of the world’s most powerful intelligence agencies, not only failed to achieve its objectives in Gaza but also spent a fortune on covert operations that yielded no results, at a time when the Palestinian resistance was preparing for its major operation that upended all calculations.
This failure is added to the series of successive Israeli admissions of intelligence and operational failure in Gaza, the latest of which was Channel Kan’s acknowledgment that “the failure that began in Gaza extended to all battlefields.”
