The Wa’adah tribes in the Damaj area of Sa’ada governorate declared today, during an armed and massive tribal gathering, a state of full alert and high readiness to confront any escalation or new round of conflict.
Sa’ada – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The tribes directed a direct warning to the US, Israel, and their regional tools, in reference to Saudi Arabia and the Emirates, against the consequences of persisting in policies of escalation and aggression.
The tribes affirmed their absolute rejection of attempts to “tamper with the unity of the Yemeni people and target Yemeni lands,” especially in the Hadramout governorate, considering these movements as serving “the American and Zionist agenda.”
They also rejected any attempts to push through projects of dismantling or domination via “mercenaries and agents” under any security or political pretexts.
The Wa’adah tribes emphasized the continuation of mobilization and training programs and raising the level of preparedness to confront any future developments, considering the conflict with the enemy and its tools to be an “open-ended conflict” governed by the variables of the regional and international stage.
They declared their standing with any choices made by the leadership in Sana’a to confront the US, Israel, and their allies, affirming that protecting Yemen’s sovereign decision requires a “conscious popular and tribal will” that does not yield to blackmail or pressure.
This tribal movements demonstrates the widening circle of popular alignment against what is perceived as external domination projects and confirms the central role of the Yemeni tribe as an effective and capable political and security deterrence force, able to influence the course of events and raise the cost of any potential escalation.
