Yemen raises its tempo with a second operation within hours and hints at the Bab Al Mandeb option
Yemen, on Monday, raised the tempo of its operations against the Israeli occupation, concurrently with hinting at larger options.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Israeli occupation acknowledged that Yemen launched two operations since dawn, indicating that the first operation was carried out with ballistic missiles at dawn, while the other was with drones.
The occupation army claimed to have intercepted a drone, according to what Hebrew media reported.
According to sources, the Yemeni operations focused on the southern and central occupied territories of Palestine, most notably Eilat on the Red Sea, which was targeted with drones this afternoon.
The new operations are the largest since Yemen began its operations against the occupation last week, which have reached 5 operations, as confirmed by the official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree. Carrying out more than one operation in a single day is an indication of a shift in the conduct of Yemeni operations, especially amid expectations of a greater escalation in the region in light of Trump’s recent threats to target Iran’s infrastructure and the deepening of crimes against civilians in the Islamic Republic.
The escalation of Yemeni operations came alongside a hint at the Bab Al-Mandeb option. A member of the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah movement, “The Houthis,” Hazam Al-Asad, stated that if the military escalation reaches the point of opening the Strait of Hormuz, the US will face challenges in other straits, a clear reference to the Bab Al-Mandeb.
