A photojournalist was killed in an Israeli attack on Khan Younis

A Palestinian photojournalist was killed on Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike in central Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
Media sources reported that photojournalist Mahmoud Essam Wadi was killed in an Israeli drone strike in the center of Khan Younis.
Journalist Mohammed Abdel Fattah Mohammed Islih, 40, was also injured by shrapnel from the Israeli attack.
Earlier, medical sources reported that Shaker Atef Al-Awawda, from Al-Bureij refugee camp, was killed after being targeted by a quadcopter drone east of the camp on Tuesday morning.
A young man was wounded by an Israeli drone in Gaza City, while five others were evacuated and dozens of families were rescued after being besieged by Israeli forces east of the city. This constitutes a new violation of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 10th.
The Civil Defense in Gaza announced that its crews evacuated five wounded individuals, including two women and two children, from the Al-Sanafour intersection area.
In a statement released early this morning, the Civil Defense also reported the evacuation of dozens of families who were besieged by Israeli tanks and drones in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Local sources reported that Israeli drones dropped bombs, causing fires in homes near the Al-Sanafour intersection, east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. This area is part of the ongoing Israeli expansion of the Green Line, which, according to the agreement, places more than 53% of Gaza’s territory under Israeli control.
Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis, while Israeli artillery targeted the eastern areas of the city, coinciding with airstrikes east of Khan Younis. Israeli warplanes also launched heavy fire towards the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip at dawn today.
