The Paralysis of the East West Pipeline Forces Aramco to Cancel October Exports to Europe

34 مشاهدة

Saudi Aramco has informed customers and refining companies in Europe of the cancellation of crude oil allocations and shipments scheduled for next October,
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
This came as a result of the severe damage to its strategic lifeline, the “East-West” pipeline, and the near-total halt of exports through Yanbu port and the Red Sea, forcing European refineries to urgently search for alternatives to cover supplies.
This decision reveals the depth of the economic predicament facing the Saudi regime under the impact of the naval blockade equation, as the pipeline extending from the eastern fields represented the only bet to avoid threats in Bab al-Mandab. The Saudi oil giant now finds itself facing logistical paralysis and a chokehold in transport lines that prevents it from fulfilling its long-term commitments.
This disruption imposes severe financial and operational pressures on Aramco and the Saudi budget, as the decline in export volume and the rise in insurance costs reduce oil revenues and deepen the Kingdom’s economic contraction, confirming the fragility of the export infrastructure amid continued pressure and field escalation.
