Occupied Palestine – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The last hours of Saturday evening, March 7, 2026, witnessed a wide escalation along the Lebanese-Israeli border as the Lebanese resistance launched more than 100 rockets and attack drones towards the north of occupied Palestine.
Israeli sources reported material damage in the city of Haifa and its surroundings as a result of the rocket barrages, which included heavy rockets, while sirens sounded in cities such as Nahariya and Avivim in the Western Galilee, causing a state of panic among both civilians and soldiers.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon explained that the missile operations and the pounce marches came in response to the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory, mentioning the targeting of the city of Nahariya at 13:40 with a swarm of drones and then the attack being repeated at 20:15 in the evening, in addition to targeting Kiryat Shmona and multiple barrages towards the occupied territories.
Later, Hebrew sources reported that a barrage of 10 heavy rockets was launched from Lebanon towards occupied Palestine, while approximately 100 launches were recorded within just one half-hour period, reflecting an unprecedented escalation in the pace of attacks.
The Hebrew sources stated that army soldiers on the border are suffering from a lack of water, food, and a place to sleep amid ongoing pressure from the intense combat fronts while sirens sound repeatedly in the northern regions.
Analysts believe that this escalation reflects Hezbollah’s ability to carry out simultaneous, multi-front attacks using short and medium-range rockets, in addition to the increasing reliance on attack drones to bypass Israeli defenses and enhance psychological pressure on both civilians and forces.
