According to Hebrew media, the Trump administration rejected a proposal by the occupation government to engage in the current Iran war. This is the first time since the start of the war on Iran that Trump insists on keeping Israel out of the confrontation, even though it was the one that started the war and its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, convinced the US President to launch the attack last February.
This shift in the American position towards its largest strategic ally in the Middle East raises many questions. Does the refusal reflect the escalating differences between Netanyahu and Trump, or is it an American attempt to secure Israel as a rear base?
