Missiles from Lebanon shake Tel Aviv and sirens sound in the center and south

Hebrew reports reported hearing two powerful explosions in Tel Aviv following a rocket salvo launched from Lebanon, which led to the activation of sirens in wide areas, including the center and south, without prior warnings after the missiles were detected.

Israeli Channel 14 indicated that missiles or shrapnel fell in areas of the inner coastal plain south of Tel Aviv, in addition to the Palmachim Air Base, as well as industrial zones and residential neighborhoods in Ashdod and Ashkelon, with warnings for residents to remain in shelters.
Hezbollah announced, in a series of consecutive statements, the execution of missile operations on Wednesday evening, April 1, 2026, targeting sites and concentrations of the Israeli army in southern Lebanon and northern Israel, in addition to confronting warplanes and shooting down a Hermes 450 drone in Ainata.
The operations included targeting concentrations of soldiers and Israeli army vehicles in settlements such as Avivim, Kabri, Nahariya, Al-Qouzah, and artillery positions in Wadi Hunin opposite Markaba, within what the party described as “defense of Lebanon and its people.”
Hezbollah also announced shooting down Israeli warplanes with surface-to-air missiles in the Biflay and Jouya areas and targeting Merkava tanks with guided missiles and dive drones.
In addition to targeting the communications station at the Aliqa Barracks in the Golan and soldier positions in settlements in northern occupied Palestine.
The military media released footage of the operation targeting the Veilon Base southeast of Safed with a qualitative drone.
