Ministry of Health 4 martyrs and 12 injuries in 48 hours in Gaza

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip issued its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The report stated that a total of four new martyrs and 12 wounded arrived at the Strip’s hospitals in the past 48 hours.

The report also noted the death of three-month-old Ali Abu Zur due to the extreme cold at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, bringing the number of child deaths due to the cold since the beginning of winter to 10.

The Ministry confirmed that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them so far.

According to the report, since the ceasefire on October 11:

Total number of martyrs: 481

Total number of injuries: 1,313

Total number of bodies recovered: 713

The cumulative statistics since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023:

Cumulative number of martyrs: 71,654

Cumulative number of injuries: 171,391

The Ministry noted that 88 martyrs were added to the cumulative martyr count, whose data was completed and approved by the Martyrs’ Approval Committee between January 16, 2026, and January 23, 2026.
