The Ministry of Health in Gaza warns of the danger of hospitals and the oxygen station stopping within days due to the prevention of fuel

Gaza – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza warned on Wednesday of an impending health and humanitarian disaster after the Israeli occupation insisted on preventing the entry of fuel needed to operate hospitals.
The ministry confirmed that the occupation deliberately thwarted attempts by the World Health Organization to deliver fuel to Gaza hospitals and refused to allow the use of alternative routes to supply the required quantities, threatening to bring the health system to a complete standstill.
The ministry explained that the danger is rapidly approaching the Al-Sahaba Medical Complex, the Public Service Hospital, and the central oxygen station, in addition to ambulances and a number of other hospitals that may cease to function within a few days.
It also warned that stopping the central oxygen station and ambulances would mean entering an unprecedented health disaster.
The Ministry of Health called on all concerned parties and the international community to intervene urgently and immediately to ensure the safe delivery of fuel to Gaza’s hospitals and the north in order to avoid the complete collapse of the health sector.
