Military observers reveal Sana a s smart strategy to burn Saudi Arabia s most important cards
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Military and political observers considered that the qualitative and preemptive operations carried out by Sana’a forces, targeting Saudi mobilizations on the Marib and Al-Mokha fronts, have burned a key military card that Riyadh was heavily counting on to achieve its objectives.
They explained that the attacks, which resulted in heavy human and material losses and included Saudi casualties, have caused a state of widespread confusion and disruption among those forces, describing these strikes as a strategic blow.
The observers pointed out that the intensive and precise strikes launched by Sana’a over the past two weeks, targeting operations rooms, sensitive sites, weapons warehouses, and supply ships, have undermined Saudi preparations for large-scale ground operations, disrupted military plans, and taken support routes out of service.
In the context of their analyses, the experts explained that Sana’a may, in the coming period, move towards expanding the blockade on Saudi Arabia after the navigation ban imposed on its ships in the Red Sea, in application of the siege-for-siege equation, if the response to the Yemeni people’s demands falters.
They noted that Saudi Arabia’s option to move its loyal factions in order to occupy Sana’a and open new ground fronts has become difficult, given the state of paralysis that has afflicted those forces as a result of the successive strikes. This has deprived Riyadh of its most important tools of field pressure to support its military moves or curb Sana’a’s attacks.
The observers considered that the field approach adopted by Sana’a in this phase reflects a smart and successful military doctrine that has yielded decisive results in redrawing the map of military deterrence on the ground.
