Military expert Saudi backed forces withdrew from an area close to the size of Malta in 96 hours
Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Military expert Ali Al-Nassi described the withdrawal of Saudi-backed forces from vast areas on the western coast in less than four days as a “military scandal by all standards,” calling for a comprehensive review of calculations and addressing the causes of what happened.
Al-Nassi said in a post that Saudi-backed forces lost about 300 square kilometers on the western coast in less than 96 hours, an area close to the size of some small countries like the island of Malta or the Maldives.
He added that the size of the area withdrawn from during this short period represents a dangerous indicator that requires pause and a review of all military and field calculations.
This comes in parallel with the developments that occurred today on the western coast, where Saudi-backed forces continue to withdraw from important sites on the western coast, most notably Camp Khalid and Hays, as Sana’a forces continue to launch intensive attacks.
