Qatar begins a military airlift between Pakistan and Yemen as the Muslim Brotherhood takes over the new government in the south of the country

Qatar began a military air bridge between Yemen and Pakistan, coinciding with the Islah Party, the Muslim Brotherhood group, taking control of the new government in Aden, in the south of the country, after the UAE was expelled from it.

Qatari forces operated approximately 3 flights of “C-17” cargo aircraft, specialized in transporting military equipment by air, during the last 72 hours.
Navigational tracking sites showed an air bridge between Multan Airport in Pakistan and Sharurah Saudi Airport, located at the border with Yemen.
The aircraft are transporting substantial military equipment from Pakistan.
This is the first time Qatari military movements have been monitored since its withdrawal from the coalition during the Gulf crisis in 2017.
The Qatari moves come after Saudi Arabia announced the formation of the new government in Aden, which has a majority belonging to the Islah Party, the Muslim Brotherhood wing.
Among the ideologically committed ministers is the Minister of Defense, Taher Al-Oqeliy, whom Hameed Al-Ahmar delegated as a replacement for his brother Hashem, whose nomination for the position provoked objections from southern forces.
Al-Oqeliy hails from the same region that is the hometown of Al-Ahmar in Amran.
It is not yet clear whether the equipment was funded by Al-Ahmar or is Qatari support for the party, but it confirms Qatar’s return to the alliance, this time with Saudi Arabia, to confront the UAE in the south.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia had officially handed over the Yemen file to Turkey, an ally of Qatar, during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to Riyadh a few days ago.
Erdoğan and the Saudi Crown Prince issued a joint statement pledging to confront calls for dividing Yemen and external support for separatist factions.
