The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor confirmed that Israel continues to commit the “crime of forced displacement” against the residents of the Gaza Strip, as part of a deliberate and overt policy employing various types of crimes to empty the Strip of its residents.

In a new report, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor indicated that Israel’s forced displacement tools include large-scale bombing and bulldozing, deliberate starvation, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, the forced expulsion of residents by force of fire and through eviction orders, and their concentration in a limited area of less than 15% of the Gaza Strip, in preparation for their mass displacement outside the Strip. This has transformed most of Gaza into devastated, uninhabited lands, unfit for habitation now or in the future. This constitutes a direct extension of the genocide it has been carrying out for approximately 21 months.

He also explained that between June 28 and 30, the Israeli occupation forces issued three new military orders to displace residents of large areas in the east and south of Gaza City, and parts of the northern Gaza Strip. These orders encompassed a vast area spanning several square kilometers, forcibly displacing tens of thousands of civilians, who found themselves trapped between ongoing displacement, starvation, and relentless bombardment, with no safe haven within the Strip.
