The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned of the danger of repeated threats of evacuations and bombing of areas surrounding hospitals.

In a press statement, the Ministry stated that this is disrupting the work of medical staff and threatening to put the remaining hospitals out of service.

It emphasized that medical staff, patients, and the wounded lack safe routes to ensure their access to hospitals amid the ongoing evacuations and bombing.

The Israeli occupation army evacuated hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip before forcing the Gaza European Hospital east of Khan Yunis to cease providing medical services after invading the area. It then warned the area surrounding the Al-Amal Hospital, which is affiliated with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, in Khan Yunis, and then issued evacuation orders for the area surrounding Nasser Hospital.

Throughout the day, the Israeli occupation army has been targeting areas adjacent to Nasser and Al-Amal hospitals in Khan Yunis, preventing patients and the wounded from receiving treatment.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that specialized healthcare services provided to patients and the wounded in the remaining functioning hospitals are under siege, and medical supplies are in short supply, putting them at risk of being rendered inoperable.
