A Leader in Ansar Allah Saudi Arabia Has Suffered Two Strategic Defeats and Is on the Verge of a Third
Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Mohammed Al-Farah, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah, affirmed that Saudi Arabia has suffered two strategic defeats during its intervention in Yemen, pointing out that it now stands on the threshold of a third historic defeat, given the failure of all its political and military bets over 11 years.
Al-Farah explained in an analytical article that Saudi Arabia’s first defeat was embodied in the failure of “Operation Decisive Storm,” which was launched in 2015, which he described as not aimed at restoring “legitimacy” but at achieving geopolitical ambitions of controlling coasts, ports, and strategic islands (especially Bab Al-Mandeb),and attempting to annex the oil regions to the Saudi map. He affirmed that this plan collided with Yemeni steadfastness that drained Saudi Arabia internationally, militarily, and economically, and aborted its “Vision 2030.”
As for the second defeat – according to Al-Farah – it crystallized in the “de-escalation” phase and Riyadh’s attempt to shift from “hard war” to “soft war” and maneuver by hiring international security companies, and betting on a series of what he described as failed factors, which are:
* The time factor: betting on exhausting Ansar Allah politically and economically.
* Economic pressures: using the siege and plundering wealth to subdue the people.
* Military attrition: relying on local tools and planting intelligence cells.
* International pressures: relying on regional changes and the American administration and attempting to confront the Axis of Resistance.
* The American umbrella: betting on Western protection that collapsed before Yemeni operations in the Red Sea.
* Settlement according to dictations: Riyadh’s attempt to impose its conditions instead of accepting the entitlements of genuine peace.
At the conclusion of his analysis, Al-Farah stressed that Riyadh today, after consuming all its cards over a decade, is more helpless
