The largest wave of strikes on gulf countries as Trump wields its card
The Gulf region witnessed on Wednesday the largest wave of aerial strikes as US President Donald Trump wields its card.
Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Saudi Arabia topped the list of daily attacks, with its defense spokesman announcing the interception of approximately 40 drones since morning.
The Saudi discussion refers only to what was intercepted and does not include the attacks, including those that achieved their objectives, in light of reports of new explosions in several areas.
The UAE and Kuwait came second in the list of attacks, which varied, with approximately 17 drones and 10 ballistic missiles for both, in addition to new attacks recorded in Bahrain.
Although these countries have been subjected to repeated attacks since the beginning of the American-Israeli aggression on Iran at the end of last month—some of which were claimed by Iran as part of targeting American interests, and some were carried out by the American-Israeli aggression in an attempt to incite the region’s countries to fight each other—the latest attacks coincided with statements by US President Trump, which singled out specific Gulf countries, most notably Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, which he said are participating in his country’s war.
It remains unclear whether the attacks are Iranian messages about what awaits those countries if they become involved in the American-Israeli war or whether they are part of American schemes to deepen the crisis.
