Israeli military casualties in southern Lebanon rise to 690

The number of Israeli soldiers wounded in the ground operation in southern Lebanon in early March 2026 has risen to 690.

According to data released by the Israeli army on Sunday, the injuries are distributed as follows: 42 serious, 96 moderate, and 552 minor. Thirty-seven soldiers were wounded in just 24 hours between April 18 and 19.

The data also confirmed that the death toll has risen to 15 soldiers, including two who were killed after the start of the temporary ceasefire with Lebanon.

April witnessed a series of significant incidents, including the death of reserve soldier Lidor Porat and the wounding of nine others in an IED explosion targeting an engineering vehicle in Kfarkela on April 19.

Four soldiers from the Nahal Brigade were killed and six others wounded in direct clashes on March 31.
