Israel kills 17 people in Lebanon

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression since March 2nd has risen to 2,696, with 8,264 wounded, after 17 people were killed and 35 others injured in the past 24 hours.

According to a ministry statement, the Israeli strikes have affected 10,960 people, including 2,696 killed and 8,264 wounded.

Compared to the previous day’s statement, the number of casualties in the past 24 hours is 17 dead and 35 wounded.

The new statement also indicates that the number of attacks targeting medical and rescue teams has risen to 132, resulting in 103 deaths and 238 injuries, in addition to damage to 25 health centers and 119 ambulances.

The number of hospitals damaged has reached 16, three of which have been completely shut down as a result of the attacks.

The statement also indicates that the death toll includes 186 children (under the age of 18),260 women, and 34 elderly people.

Despite the ceasefire declared on April 17 and in effect until May 17, the Israeli army continues to bombard sites in Lebanon daily and carries out widespread bombings of homes in dozens of villages.
