Iranian Parliamentarian We will surprise America and Israel if they launch a new round of attacks
The member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, Mahmoud Nabavian, said on Friday that the Iranian armed forces are at the highest level of readiness to respond to any new attack that the US or Israel might launch.
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Nabavian, who participated in the Iranian negotiating delegation in Islamabad, explained that the bill for managing the Strait of Hormuz has been studied and approved within the National Security Committee and will be put to a vote when the parliament’s public sessions resume, adding that “the conditions of the Strait of Hormuz will not return to what they were before the war.”
He referred to previous statements by US President Donald Trump in which he spoke about the possibility of carrying out a new round of military operations against Iran, affirming that Tehran has prepared response plans under the supervision of the supreme leadership of the armed forces.
He added that Iran “will surprise” Washington and Tel Aviv in the event of any new attack and that the response will be harsh to any “miscalculation,” according to his expression.
Nabavian also stressed the Iranian parliament’s rejection of removing any amount of enriched uranium from the country, considering that the US and Israel are seeking through this to weaken Iran’s position in negotiations, affirming that Tehran “will not allow this to happen.”
