Iran targets the U S Al Azraq base in Jordan

Tehran – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Iranian Army announced today that it targeted the deployment site of advanced U.S. Army fighter jets at the Azraq Air Base in Jordan using attack drones, affirming that this base is considered “one of the most important strategic and command centers for the aggressor American forces in Western Asia.”
The Iranian Army stated in a statement that the “Azraq” Air Base “plays a key role in directing advanced fighter jets and the enemy’s spy and attack drone operations against resistance front positions and our country,” noting that this base was a primary platform for launching airstrikes on Iran since the start of the war on February 28th.
The “Azraq” (Muwaffaq Salti) Air Base in the Jordanian desert is considered one of the most important U.S. military centers in the Middle East, having witnessed the largest U.S. Air Force deployment since the Iraq War in 2003, with more than 60 fighter jets deployed, including F-35 stealth aircraft, heavy F-15s, F-16s, and E-3 Sentry early warning aircraft, in addition to advanced air defense systems such as Patriot and THAAD.
