Intense Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon

Israeli warplanes launched intense and heavy airstrikes on towns in southern Lebanon on Sunday.

The National News Agency reported that Israeli aircraft attacked the Al-Bureij area on the outskirts of Jbaa in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region for the third time in less than an hour, counting more than 10 airstrikes on the area.

The occupation aircraft also launched heavy airstrikes on the outskirts of Jbaa and the Rihan Heights in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region of southern Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes also attacked the outskirts of Qatrani in the Jezzine district of southern Lebanon.

Al-Mayadeen TV reported that an Israeli drone was found crashed in the town of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon on Sunday morning.

Al-Mayadeen also confirmed that an Israeli helicopter dropped a stun grenade near workers near an excavator in the Karkazan neighborhood of the southern town of Mays al-Jabal.

The Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire in Lebanon and UN Security Council Resolution 1701, and persists in occupying points along the border with occupied Palestine and constructing a separation wall that extends beyond the so-called “Blue Line.”
