The capital, Sana’a, witnessed solemn funeral ceremonies this Monday morning for Major General Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Ghamari, the Chairman of the General Staff of the Sana’a forces, who was martyred while performing his religious and national duty in defense of Yemen and Gaza.

Yemeni crowds from various provinces gathered in Al-Sab’een Square to bid farewell to a leader who left clear imprints on the course of confrontation with the American-Israeli aggression and, prior to that, the Saudi-Emirati war coalition on Yemen.
The funeral scene of Major General Al-Ghamari today formed a unifying national milestone and a message of loyalty to a leader who left a legacy of steadfastness and pride, as the crowds renewed their pledge to continue on the path of resistance until achieving complete victory.
The martyr Al-Ghamari is considered one of the most prominent military leaders who rebuilt the Yemeni military institution from within and worked on developing missile capabilities, drones, and air defense until the Yemeni forces became capable of carrying out precise operations deep into both Saudi and Israeli territories, which imposed a new deterrence equation that made Yemen an influential force in the regional balance.
During his tenure as Chairman of the General Staff, the martyr Al-Ghamari led a comprehensive development process for the combat systems on land, sea, and air and contributed to building a unified operations room that enabled the Yemeni forces to manage the battle of the Promised Conquest in defense of Palestine and in support of Gaza through dozens of missile and naval operations.
Comrades of the martyr in the military institution confirm that he believed that the battle for liberation is a single one and that supporting Palestine was a religious, moral, and humanitarian duty. His final operational stance was his direct supervision of Yemeni
