Hezbollah announced this evening, Wednesday, the start of a new military operation named “Chewed Up Straw” against the Israeli entity in response to its continued aggressions on Lebanese territory, coinciding with the execution of a rocket barrage described as the largest since the beginning of the war.
Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Hebrew media sources reported that the party launched more than 100 rockets in a single salvo, which they described as the largest rocket barrage since the start of the current escalation, leading to sirens sounding in several cities and settlements in northern occupied Palestine.
The sirens’ areas included the cities of Haifa and Nahariya, in addition to a large number of settlements and towns in the Galilee, amidst a state of maximum alert in the Israeli home front and reports of rockets falling in several locations.
The Hebrew sources stated that this strike came in response to Israeli claims about the decline of Hezbollah’s rocket capability, considering that the size of the rocket barrage reflects the party’s continued possession of effective military capabilities and its ability to carry out large-scale and qualitative operations.
The operation comes within the framework of responding to the ongoing Israeli aggressions on Lebanon, which resulted in martyrs and wounded civilians and the destruction of installations and infrastructure in various areas.
